Yes, engraving is available for every knife we offer. However, we achieve the best results on smooth, polished blades (migaki and kuro-uchi finish). Engravings are less visible on knives with damascus patterns or hammered finishes (tsuchime).

  • Add the knife you'd like to engrave.
  • Once we receive your order, we’ll send you a digital preview of the engraving on your chosen knife.
  • After you approve the preview, we’ll complete the engraving.

    • Simply add the engraving design with the Japanese motif to your cart along with the knife. We'll send you a preview before we proceed with the engraving.

    Absolutely! If you’d like to add initials, a date, or adjust the design’s placement, just let us know at checkout or contact us via email. We're happy to help tailor the engraving to your wishes.

    It usually takes 2 business days to complete the engraving once the preview is confirmed.

    Yes! Send us your idea, photo, or ready-made design to support@sharpedgeshop.com, and we’ll help create a custom engraving that suits your knife.

    Unfortunately, no. As engraved knives are custom-made, they are not eligible for return or exchange unless there is a defect or an error on our part.
