Comprata assieme al coltello Kotetsu Nakiri VG-10 Damascus 160mm (6.3") [pakka wood] per proteggere sia la sua lama che le mie dita.
In plastica rigida e con imbottitura morbida all'interno, avvolge completamente la lama del coltello, anche in altezza. La uso per riporre il nakiri nel mio cassetto nel mobile cucina.
Mi sarebbe piaciuto un saya in legno, ma non mi sembra che ce n'è disponibile per il tipo di coltello.
