We are very sorry that you are not satisfied with our magnet. Our magnets were designed specifically for Japanese knives and for a specific number of knives.

When designing the magnets, we had in mind the number of knives in an average household, the safety of the users and their children, and finally, preventing damage to the knives. The average household has from 2 to 5 knives, so we made magnets with 4 and 5 places because in addition to knives, it is possible to put kitchen tweezers, spatulas, ...

The magnetic rack has 2 strong magnets installed in each place for the knife, which prevent the possibility that children could remove the knife, even for an adult, removing the knife is demanding, which is what was intended. The last feature of the magnet is the distance between the places with the magnet, which prevents damage to the knife with another knife when removing and placing it on the magnet, due to the sheer force with which the magnets attract the blade. For this reason, it is recommended that knives be placed on and off the magnet with the 'back' of the knife on the magnet, otherwise the blade of the knife could be damaged by the force of the magnet.
