Although I have the more fancy leather sleeves, those plastic ones are the most used as they are the most practical, great idea by SharpEdge, protective with that soft interior, easy to put on and off, cheap and maintenance fee. I have one for each knife I own.

A little knife beautifully crafted, feels like a piece of jewelry that I can't put down, makes me want to find more and more things to cut :) I love it!

Pretty much what I expected now from a Yoshida Hamano. The knife is posh, the Koi fish design is pleasing to the eye. It’s easy to sharpen and very well rounded for an everything mise en place knife. Highly recommended !

The quality of the product is really good, and for me is useful that you can take them apart, easy cleaning and eventually sharpening. The only downside of this is that I’m afraid of hanging them from a hook as I used to do with my old one (I’m afraid they will separate and fall)

I tested the knife and I must say that I was impressed by the type of cut that is given by the metals added to the base metal vg10. Excellent purchase I highly recommend it.

Wanted to give HAP-40 a try. Sharp out of the box, passed the paper cut test.

From the moment i ordered to the moment i collected it, it took 2 business days, so very fast shipping and delivering. The knive i bought is well crafted and very sharp, and at the moment just waiting to find out if the Edge stays the same form the lenght they said.

Nice and dishwasher friendly cutting board. Not suitable for day to day work, because it will leave small black material pieces on your food. Quite annoying when your food gets micro rubber (or plastic) stains.

After buying several knives, i found this one to be the most appropriate for daily cutting tasks.
Though the build of the blade and spine being so thin for precisive cuts, it can stand a little rough handling and harder food without any micro-chipping of the blade. The weight, shape and balance of the knife makes it easy to use.

This is my second knife from Sharp Edge and I couldn't be more pleased! Specifically, it works exceptionally well for vegetables. Clean, no-effort slicing and limited drag on the blade side.

Die Klinge-so dachte ich - hat eine Schmiedehaut. So ist es aber nicht. Diese schwarze Schicht ist allem Anschein nach eine Pulverbeschichtung. Ich fühle mich betrogen.

The service was performed carelessly, traces of glue on the handle and on the blade. I don't know how to clean it, I'm afraid that traces will remain. The blade is set crooked about 3mm from the axis. It's unacceptable. Too bad :(

It is a laser, sooo good and satisfying. It is my first Japanese knife. The factory edge microchips easily at first but easily sharpens later.
