Unsere Saya (Messerscheide) aus Leder eignet sich für Mehrzweckmesser wie Bunka- / Santoku- / Gyuto- Messer mit einer Klingenlänge von bis zu 210 mm (8,3 Zoll) und einer Klingenbreite von bis zu 45 mm (1,8 Zoll).
Handgefertigte Saya aus braunem Leder schützt das Messer und seinen Benutzer vor Beschädigungen und Verletzungen. Außerdem bleibt das Messer dadurch scharf und lässt sich leichter transportieren. Wir schließen es mit einem Lederstreifen, den wir am Knauf befestigen, um zu verhindern, dass die Klinge aus der Saya rutscht.

This is not the first time I've ordered this type of item. They're really good for protecting knife blades. The only difference is that the leather isn't as thick, which is a real shame. I hope this won't be the case for future orders.
In any case, it's still a good item, just a little too expensive.
