Beautiful handle with a smooth finish, it feels like I got what I paid for.

This is my first gyuuto and man it fits me like a glove. It’s a long blade so I wouldn’t recommend it for someone with small hands or short arms. I’ve mostly used santoku knives previously but this knife is a dream. I mostly use it for cutting meat and it slices up the thickest steaks as if they were butter. Beautiful blade, keeps an edge (at least for the month I’ve had it) and it’s also beautiful

Size is fit for meduim to narrow size knife width, high quality leather surface, safely and fast delivery overseas/Japan

I’m very satisfied with the knife. It’s lightweight and well rounded. Comes very sharp and ready to fit a handle. I did choose a combined handle, octagonal in front and western in the back. Best of 2 worlds.

Simply perfect, the size, weight and balance are exactly what I was looking for. The clean line of the knife is a joy to admire. The edge of the blade has passed the test of paper, tomato and even my fingers 😂😂. The shipping service is super, SharpEdge never disappoints.

Knife is perfectly balanced, razor sharp and quality. Only issue is the blade is fairly narrow so if you have large hands I wouldn’t recommend it. But other than that it’s amazing.

Super sharp and absolutely beautiful!

This knife is absolutely stunning. The blade, the handle, the finish, the workmanship. All stunning. My only slight gripe is that it wasn't delivered as sharp as I'd have liked it to be. I asked when ordering to send it very sharp as I read some purchasers saying theirs could have been sharper.

It's not a massive deal and I can sharpen it myself. But I did ask and it seems my request wasn't taken into consideration.

But I now have a beautiful, custom, Bunka that will give me years and years of joy.

Nice knife but less sharp than the former nigara petty in the same design buy in the same store. That is the first time that i sharp a new knife directly. After that it is a great tool.

It fits my bunka like a glove, the only downside is the one I ordered came curved/bent and not exactly straight!

I’m not sure if that’s gonna be healthy for the knife in the long run.

It is amazing how easy this knife is to handle. The 17 centimeters might seem small, but they are enough to handle any challenge. This knife is perfectly balanced in all parameters.
