The story behind the design:

Here at SharpEdge we are passionate about all things Japanese.

We wanted to combine one of our favorite accessories—a trucker hat—with a unique Japan-inspired design, exclusive only to SharpEdge.

We came across the artist Vincent Trinidad. His Japan-inspired style really resonated with us, so we reached out to him to collaborate.

He made our vision of a sumo-fighting brown bear come to life in his own unique style. We chose the brown bear because it is an animal found in both Japan and Slovenia (SharpEdge's home base).

The sumo-fighting brown bear has seen some battles and wears his battle scars with honor. We armed him with our favorite Japanese knife—the SharpEdge exclusive ZDP-189 Bunka Black 190mm (7.5").

The bottom of the sturdy visor features the SharpEdge logo within a Japanese rising sun, offering some extra sunshine whenever you wear the hat.

Hat specifications:

The wide front panel of the hat is made of high-quality cotton, and the back panels are made from polyester mesh for added breathability. A sturdy sweatband keeps the hat in place. The hat is one size fits all—fully adjustable at the closure in the back.
