Return Policy
Our return policy lasts 30 days (60 days in November and December). If more than 30 days have gone by since the day you received your order, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
Holiday Gift Returns
Orders placed in November and December enjoy a 60-day return policy in case the gift recipient may wish to make a return.
Submit Return Request
To be eligible for a return, products must be unused and in the same condition that you received them, including the original packaging.
You can submit a return request here:
- Log in with the email you used for placing the order.
- Select the order you wish to return.
- Click on "Request return" and select the items you wish to return.
- Submit a return.
Return Costs
We charge a return shipping fee of €10,00 which will be deducted from your refund.
If the item(s) arrived damaged, not as advertised, if the product has a manufacturing issue, or if you received a wrong item, you will not be charged for the return shipping cost.
☝️ Please note: Japanese kitchen knives are handmade from natural materials. Slight variations in color, texture, weight, and other dimensions are possible. We try to give a good photographic representation of our products, however, computer screen resolution and colors do vary, so products might not look exactly as they are seen on screen.
Return Shipping
Once your return request is approved, you will receive instructions on how to ship the returned items. A prepaid return shipping label will be provided.
Shipping cost are non-refundable unless the received items were damaged during shipping, the product has a manufacturing issue, or if you received a wrong item.
If you wish to return items with your preferred shipping service, contact us after you have initiated a return.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed to your original method of payment within 3-5 business days.
Non-returnable Items
Engraved knives or any other custom-made products are not eligible for returns, except in the following cases:
- The knife was damaged during shipping.
- You received the wrong product.
Exchanges
It is possible to exchange a returned item for another item. After you have initiated a return request, contact us if you wish to make an exchange.
Order Cancellations
To cancel your order before we ship it out (normally the next business day), contact us immediately at fulfillment@sharpedgeshop.com.
We will refund you for the full amount, including shipping costs. If we already shipped your order, submit a Return Request once you receive the items.
