I am located in the US. I bought a Yoshida Hamono HAP 40 wide gyuto. The knife performs extremely well. The transaction went smoothly. It was a pleasure to do business with this company.

The knife arrived damaged through the post . I contacted Sharp Edge and Urban was very helpful and sent me a new knife , without any complications. I can't recommend them enough .

As with all new shops I buy from I like to be careful! Check them out and just be careful even more so when buying something expensive.
So I did my research but decided to side with caution and pay via paypal, I should not have worried !!!

Bought and paid for my knife on Friday morning and it was delivered to the UK on the Monday, how good is that.

The knife is very nice and also one I had been looking for for a while si I am very happy, next time I will pay by bank transfer as I have a Euro balance which helps.

Very nice to deal with and I have been through Slovenia on many occasions so nice to hear they are going Global.

At last i find my knife… yeah. Great product and work already with it. Worth every Cent. 🤩

Yesterday I cooked a Chinese meal for a couple of friends: a main mie dish and verious side dishes. Preparing all the vegetables and meat with this Santoku was a joy: effiortless and precise cutting. Probably this inspired me to be as precise in the cooking itself, because we all agreed that it was the best version of this recipe I ever made.

This is the second knife I purchased from SharpEdges. The first one - a Yoshida kiritsuke 135 mm black HAP-40 is also very good. I like the (almost) minimalistic simple but (almost) perfect finish of these Yoshida blades and handle.

All in all I regret that I did not discover your shop earlier. I already have a nice collection of other Japanese knives with different steels and shapes. No need on the short term for replacements or filling some gap. But who knows?

Delivery by DHL Express from Ljubljana to the Netherlands is okay but not perfect. Oh well. Who cares?
