Toyo Y-410 Toolbox is an iconic part of Japanese tool manufacturing.
In 1969, Toyo Steel led a small revolution in the toolmaking industry: they were the first to develop a toolbox stamped from a single sheet of metal. This resulted in a simple, seamless box with improved structural integrity over existing welded toolboxes. Through the decades, it has proven itself as an indispensable companion to factotums worldwide.
Its design is simple and functional:
- it features the iconic "camber-top," meaning that the top cover has a dome shape that allows for storage of taller items,
- its double lock mechanism ensures a stronger closure, and is able to be additionally secured with a padlock,
- it’s fitted with a fixed-arc steel handle that ensures a comfortable, ergonomic grip when on the go.
With its rugged, minimalist aesthetic, this Toyo toolbox transcends the workshop. It is available in three colors (silver, black, and blue) applied with a durable powder coating that ensures a long-lasting look that will pop as an interior design piece as much as it will in the back of a tradesman’s truck.
