✔︎ No import fees & duties - worldwide |
Savor traditional Japanese artistry with every bite. These square-grip chopsticks showcase the serene 'seigaiha' wave pattern flowing gracefully along each side. A timeless Japanese design, this pattern of overlapping concentric arcs, reminiscent of scales, symbolizes calm waves, peace, and tranquility.
Made from natural wood and finished using the traditional Wakasa-nuri lacquerware technique, these chopsticks feature a smooth, muted tone that complements any table setting.
Crafted in Japan by Kawai—a lacquered chopstick specialist founded in 1943 in Obama City, the heart of Japan’s chopstick-making tradition. All Kawai chopsticks are made using the traditional Togidashi method—a 400-year-old Japanese lacquer technique known for its refined patterns and exceptional quality. Each pair undergoes multiple rounds of lacquering, a process that can take up to six months. Rooted in tradition yet designed for today, Kawai chopsticks combine timeless craftsmanship with everyday practicality.
