Designed specifically for the XinZuo Cai Dao Chinese Cleaver, this wooden sheath protects the cleaver’s wide rectangular blade during storage and transport. Integrated magnets help keep the sheath securely positioned on the blade while still allowing it to be removed quickly and easily when the knife is needed.

The sheath is made from walnut wood using a one-piece splicing construction designed to improve durability and reduce the risk of deformation or cracking. As walnut is a natural material, each piece features its own unique grain pattern and colour variation. The smooth surface and rounded edges make it safe and comfortable to handle.

Please note that the magnets are designed to hold the sheath in place during normal storage and careful handling, but they do not create a locking connection. Excessive movement, swinging or carrying the knife while holding only the sheath may cause it to come loose and fall off. Always hold the knife securely by its handle and check that the sheath is properly fitted before moving or transporting it.



This Saya will fit on Chinese cleaver with dimensions of up to 190mm (7.5") in length, up to 90mm (3.7”) in width, and with a thickness at the spine of up to 3.5mm (0.14").

Please note:
Due to differences in knife geometry, a saya may not fit all knives, even if the blade length and type appear to match. On each knife’s product page, the compatible saya is shown - this is the one that fits that specific knife.

If the knife was not bought from our shop, please check the dimensions carefully, as a perfect fit cannot be guaranteed.
