Our leather saya (knife sheath) is suitable for multi-purpose knives, like the bunka/santoku/gyuto knives of dimensions of up to 210mm (8.3") in blade length and 45mm (1.8") in blade width.
Hand-made brown leather saya protects the knife and its user from damages and injuries. It also keeps the knife sharp and makes it easier to carry around. We close it with a leather strip that we attach to the knob to prevent the blade from sliding out of the saya.

This is not the first time I've ordered this type of item. They're really good for protecting knife blades. The only difference is that the leather isn't as thick, which is a real shame. I hope this won't be the case for future orders.
In any case, it's still a good item, just a little too expensive.
