Premium stabilized maple wood block for knife handle making. Measuring 140 x 40 x 30 mm (5.5 x 1.6 x 1.2 inches), this high-quality wood is perfect for crafting durable and unique custom knife handles. Wood stabilization enhances the material’s resistance to moisture and deformation, ensuring durability and strength for the handle.

Handle wood blocks are made of natural maple wood harvested in North China, Russia and the USA. The wood undergoes a special procedure of stabilization with resin, which ensures a very long service life of the handle. During this process of stabilization, a color pigment is added and is then absorbed in the wood fibres. After the final treatment and polishing, the handle reveals the grain of the wood. For the handles, blocks of maple burl with irregular and non-uniform structure are used, thus the dyes penetrate the wood in different ways, creating unique patterns. This makes every handle one-of-a-kind.

Available in four colors:

→ TOTTORI SAND takes us on a walk across the Tottori dunes of western Japan⁠. A sandy brown color is inspired by the infinitely swirly sand dunes.
→ TOKYO NIGHT reminds us of the flashing lights of Tokyo’s Harajuku.⁠ The color of these handles varies from light to dark grey, with soft or deep hues of red and swirls of cream.
→ OKINAWA REEF transports you to the clear waters of Okinawa island. ⁠A soothing, emerald green color. It feels like immersing your hand in shimmering coastal waters during summer.
→ KYOTO SUNSET warms us with the glow of sunset over Kyoto. It feels like holding something smooth and warm in your hand – a glow in the sky at sunset or a burst of bright autumn color.

The material's color is more vivid and saturated when oiled. After processing and polishing the handle, oil it to maintain its quality. Regular oiling helps preserve its durability and appearance.
