Sujihiki made by Slovene Smith Krmelj is ideal for cutting larger pieces of meat, steak, and fish. It features a convex grind with a distal taper. It has a beautiful saya made from walnut wood. A hidden tang or japanese handle is made from walnut wood and plastic ferrule. It has an oval shape that tapers from back to front. The blade is made from stainless steel, 1.4116, heat-treated to 58HRC.
