Aunt Deidre has seen the world. Literally. Spent months trekking the Andes, lived among the locals in French Polynesia, sipped whisky while lying in a hammock with a view of the Victoria lake in Kenya, and was accidentally present at a discovery of a fresh tomb in Egypt. She’s into picking up extraordinary mementos along the way and her childhood room is stocked full of bits and pieces collecting dust. She loves to sample the local cuisine of the places she visits and takes great pride in learning to prepare these traditional dishes. Cooking is her way of introducing different cultures to her family on the rare occasions she’s home. For Deidre, the world is her home.
